Wooden toys for children - such as those in the basement of my grandmother

Just a few years ago, only wooden toys for children have been found homes with grandparents. This is due to arrive at the age of plastic. These cheap plastic toys from Japan have been badly hit because they cost almost nothing yet. But as with most things, you get what you pay for toys and plastic usually lasted only a few months before it broke or fell apart. Good thing they were cheap.

For this reason, it was a whole generation ofAmerican children, who have never enjoyed the pleasure of playing with toys made in America. Many American children at that time could go home to their grandparents and see some of these old toys. My mother smiled every time she would use the old home of her wooden doll in the basement to see. After more than 40 years ago was still in good shape.

This is one of the advantages of toys, finally the test of time. This is not true with plastic toys. PolymersThey consist of dry out and crack done. This not only makes these toys can be played alone, but at the time, uncertain because of the jagged edges.

Fortunately, there is a new manufacturer of wooden toys for this generation to play a lot today. This is more than the standard ABC blocks and doll houses. There are puzzles, wooden buildings, including a large assortment of fruits and vegetables. Each made of wood and lead, toxin-freeCoatings. Because of these newcomers, there are wooden toys for children to play with again.
